Annual Picnic
The 94th annual Scottish Home Picnic will be held Saturday August 7th from 10:00am until 4:00pm. There will be food, children's games, Scottish dancing, piping and more. Please come and bring the entire family for this yearly event to support the residents at the Scottish Home.
Residence Plans
Assisted Living Plan means freedom from cooking, cleaning and home maintenance while enjoying a thriving social life surrounded by expert and professional staff. Nursing Care Plan meets every need and is equipped with 24-hour licensed nursing staff.

The Scottish Home has it all! Nestled on 5 wooded acres, we have many beautiful gardens, a large patio and a walking path. We have a cozy living room, three lovely dining rooms and a Great Room with a computer for resident use and a full kitchen.

Olympic Games
Since August of 2004 the Scottish Home residents have been competing in their own summer and winter Olympic Games. The opening ceremony for this year's 2010 winter games was held on Monday, February 15, followed by the first of nine events scheduled during the two week period. Residents competed in Bean Bag Olympic Ring Toss, Ice Cube Relay, Wheelchair Hockey, and Tea Kettle Curling just to name a few. Bronze, silver and gold medals were awarded to the winners after each event. The Food Service department also prepared some favorite Canadian dishes to be enjoyed at mealtime. Bravo to the staff of the Life Enrichment department who organized this great event and decorated the Home in the Olympic spirit.
